So lets dive in to my Scottsdale Travel Guide.
Accommodations
Scottsdale offers a variety of hotels and Vacation Rentals, for just about any budget under the hot, Scottsdale sun. During my last trip, which was an all girls trip with some of my friends and family, we had the opportunity to stay at the MOST ADORABLE, and affordable vacation rental. Granada Grotto, is a newly renovated, resort-style home with am outdoor pool & spa, outdoor shower, BBQ area, lawn games, and much more. The owner did not miss a single detail when designing, furnishing and decorating, this 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home. It even comes fully equipped with a game room. This super chic vacation home is PERFECT for your next girls weekend getaway! Oh, and did I mention it sleeps 11!
Food & Drink
Old Town Scottsdale is peppered with some of the cutest (and the most instagrammable) restaurants and bars! Make sure to take full advantage of the diverse menu options around the city!
Diego Pops - Super trendy spot with delicious Mexican food. Get the Poke bowl! SO GOOD!
The Montauk - Eclectic American fare in a beach-inspired venue with an amazing brunch scene. I recommend the fish tacos!
Breakfast Club - Amazing location for breakfast and brunch! Get the Huevos Rancheros… SO GOOD!!!
Farm & Craft - Super cute little bistro serving organic, gluten-free & other conscientious eats. They also have a great happy hour which includes $5 flat bread, avocado hummus and rose on tap!
Activities
Once you are done eating and drinking all of the different foods and drinks that Old Town Scottsdale has to offers, make sure to get outside and take a hike, through one of Scottsdale’s GORGEOUS nature hikes. If you’re planning to go during the summer, start EARLY in the day, and make sure to pack A LOT of water! Or purchase a Camelbak backpack, which includes refillable bladder and easy to use crux reservoir. I promise you, your body will thank you.
Papago Park - (Easy to Moderate Difficulty) Papago Park offers exceptional hiking and a wide variety of recreational activities including - hiking, walking/running, and biking. This hike is great for kids and adults alike.
Camelback Mountain - (difficult, not for the faint of heart) Two difficult trail-heads ascend 1,420 feet to the summit, resembling the hump of a camel's back. Once at the top, enjoy the 360 degree views of the city below.
There are also more options available if neither of these strike your fancy. Click here to discover the other trails and hikes, that Phoenix and Scottsdale have to offer.
I personally cannot wait to make a trip back down to sunny Scottsdale. It is the most perfect vacation spot for the solo adventurer, couples, families, girls weekends, guys golfing trips, and anything in between.
